Meet Tegid:

"Hello, my name is Tegid. I am originally from Nefyn in Gwynedd but now living in Bangor with my wife Heledd. I have a BA and MA in Welsh History from Bangor University. My previous employment includes working in museums, archives and galleries. I am a first language Welsh speaker and my interests include sports, music, history and of course Archaeology.

"My Community Archaeology Training Placement is based at Gwynedd Archaeological Trust, Bangor. GAT is an educational charity dedicated to investigating, protecting and promoting the archaeology of north-west Wales.

"I am looking forward to working with the local community to promote the regions archaeology. I am also looking forward to working with GAT’s staff to gain new skills and experience within the world of Archaeology."
