What's Happening

Home Front 1914-18 Site Recording Workshops

Join us to find out how to research and record First World War remains in your area using our toolkit and app to share your knowledge with your local Historic Environment Record and display your research on our UK map of sites. You don’t need to be an archaeologist or have experience of fieldwork to take part. The workshop will be of interest to family and local history groups, First World War Centenary projects and interest groups and everyone interested in the impact of the Home Front on the places we live in today.

Beatrice de Cardi lecture

Eminent scholar and archaeologist, professor Mike Parker Pearson will draw together years of research to share new interpretations of the iconic prehistoric site of Stonehenge and the landscape in which it sits.

CBA Network events

Groups run their own events programmes and hands-on training activities for members and everyone interested in finding out more about the archaeology of their area. These include site visits, tours and lectures, as well as study days, day schools and workshops.
