Archaeology lives - Council for British Archaeology

Donations and regular giving

There are many ways you can help the Council for British Archaeology. Your donation will help us to understand, preserve and promote our archaeology and heritage for today and for future generations.

Bodmin Moor Walk

For us to do more and achieve more it is vital that we grow our income and regular giving is one way of doing this. You can give as much as you want and at whatever intervals you like. Regular giving is particularly important to support important projects like the Young Archaeologists' Club, which needs regular income to help us to sustain and develop its activities to reach more children with a love of archaeology.

If all of our supporters were to give £5 a month we could raise £350,000 each year towards supporting our work to protect and share archaeology.

There are different ways to donate to us through regular donations.

  • You can set up a Standing Order, on an annual, 6 monthly, quarterly or monthly basis. The choice is yours. We have developed a standing order form which you can download, complete and return to us.
  • Send a free text to ARCH11 followed by the amount you wish to donate, either £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10 to 70070, eg 'ARCH11 10' Just Text Giving.

Donate via The Big Give or Charity Choice

You have a unique chance to double the value of a donation you make to the CBA’s charitable work. Just visit the Big Give website and any money you give will be matched by them.

But hurry, the offer doesn't last long, so please donate now to take advantage of this opportunity. If you give £20 today, we'll receive £40, which means your gift will have twice the impact.

Don't forget to Gift Aid your donation!
