The CBA's annual archaeology day, incorporating the charity's AGM, will take place on Monday 6 November at The Linnean Society, Burlington House, Piccadilly, London. The event will start at 2.30pm and run through to about 7.30pm.
This year’s De Cardi lecture will be given by Christopher Dobbs, Head of Interpretation and Maritime Archaeology at the Mary Rose Museum and Alexzandra Hildred, Head of Research and Curator of Ordnance and Human Remains at the Museum, who will be talking about 'Presenting Maritime Archaeology to the Public: The Mary Rose'.

2.00 - 2.30pm Registration
2.30 - 4.00pm Seminar on the image of archaeology. Speakers to include Mike Pitts (Editor, British Archaeology), Sarah May (UCL Institute of Archaeology), David Jennings (CEO, York Archaeological Trust).
4.00pm - 5.00pm AGM
5.00pm - 5.30pm Presentation of the 2017 Marsh Archaeology Awards
5.30pm - 6.30pm Drinks reception
6.30pm - 7.30pm 'Presenting Maritime Archaeology to the Public: The Mary Rose'.
