Festival of Archaeology 2019

We are delighted to announce the 2019 Festival of Archaeology dates are the 13 - 28 July.

Following a year off in 2018, the 2019 Festival of Archaeology will be back bigger and better, and will form part of the 75th anniversary of the Council for British Archaeology.

We will be launching the new website in January 2019 and will be sharing more details of the 2019 Festival of Archaeology over the coming weeks.

Festival events

In 2017 over 1,000 events were put on by 318 organisers across the UK and we want to build on this success for 2019.

Find out more about previous Festival events by downloading the 2017 Festival of Archaeology booklet.
