FUNdraising
You could choose to set yourself a personal challenge such as a marathon, or get together with friends, family or work colleagues. Whatever you do, you’ll be sure to have fun whilst raising valuable funds to support our work.
Events for FUNdraising for the Young Archaeologists’ Club, include a Roman march around York’s famous walls, a hike up Hadrian’s wall and a Tudor amble along the old lines of London's City Walls. This year a team is raising sponsorship by taking part in York's famous dragon boat race.
There’s lots of great ideas out there which you can develop and we’ve developed more information to help you make those ideas real. Have a look at all our advice and tips or get in touch with us to discuss your ideas.
The CBA is most grateful for a Catalyst grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund to aid the development of our fundraising capacity. This award has resulted in our being able to upskill staff to conduct fundraising on an enhanced scale, achieving considerable levels of income. Such efforts will continue into the future to ensure that we can provide our strategic goal of Archaeology for All.
