Archaeology dig it - Council for British Archaeology

Archaeology Matters

Festival website launched

The CBA's 23rd Festival of Archaeology has been undergoing a rebrand with a refreshed name, logo and visual identity. A new website has also been launched with an enhanced 'what's on' area to help visitors to choose the activities which interest them from over 1,000 events on offer throughout the UK.

The world's largest celebration of archaeology will kick off the summer holidays from 13-28 July 2013. Events range from excavation open days, behind-the-scenes tours and workshops, to guided walks, talks and finds identifications, family fun days, and more. Search the online listings for what's on in your area. New events are being added every day.

Full up-to-date searchable listings can be found on the Festival's website along with updates and highlights. Check out our online information at www.archaeologyfestival.org.uk, at facebook.com/archaeology.for.all and via Twitter @Festivalofarch.
