Potential Cuts to Heritage Services in Cheshire

The CBA have reponded to proposed budget cuts at Cheshire West and Chester Council. There is concern that these cuts (which include a projected 400 job losses) will impact upon the Council's Archaeological Planning Advisory Service. For more information please see our response below.

The Chester Archaeological Society have also responded to the consultation with their concerns about the negative impact that the proposed cuts will have on provision for heritage in the region.

The consultation is open until February 9th 2014.
