Recent news on the National Heritage Protection Plan

English Heritage have launched their annual National Heritage Protection Plan (NHPP) consultation survey for people to share their views on the Plan.

The latest NHPP progress report for the first half of the financial year 2012-13 is also available.

English Heritage have also improved their general coverage of the NHPP on the website including a good introduction to the basics of the plan available as a downloadable leaflet.

Whilst you can read through the  NHPP Plan Framework or the English Heritage Action Plan as documents, we have also made progress on creating web pages for the individual Activities of the Plan which are searchable. Two thirds of them are already represented with the rest to follow over the coming months.

Sections of potential interest include the Activity on Historic Environment Records and responses to local authority capacity loss (for more information also see the English Heritage report).
