The Personal Histories Project

The Personal Histories Project is an on-going, educational, oral-history, team research initiative in which senior archaeologists and public figures are invited to share their memories, life stories and past experiences with students. Through personal recollections, we understand the development of twentieth-century science, arts and humanities. Featured in the student-produced 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011 films are, among others, Colin Renfrew, Mike Schiffer, Meg Conkey, Henrietta Moore, Jane Goodall, Chris Stringer, Meave Leakey and David Attenborough.

To view the films, listen to transcriptions and discuss the project see the project website and Facebook page.
