2 March 2015
The CBA’s Winter General Meeting took place on 2 March 2015 at the British Academy in London with a forum on the way forward for community archaeology.
Community Archaeology – where now?
This event featured case studies from the project, which has seen 51 people complete year-long work placements in community archaeology. Placement graduates and their host employers from across the sector shared their perspectives and lessons learned and discuss the future for community archaeology.
The forum was followed by a chance to catch up with the CBA’s plans in our Winter General Meeting and share a glass of wine with friends and colleagues.
Have your say
The General Meetings are an important part of the work of the CBA, and provide a forum for our members to contribute to discussions about the organisation and its activities and major archaeological issues. They are also key dates in our social calendar and an opportunity for CBA staff, trustees, partners and members to meet and socialise.
