If you are involved in leading a voluntary or community archaeological group, we have new networking and skills development opportunities coming up over the next few weeks.
Join us for a series of lunchtime sessions designed to help group organisers share ideas and pool experiences. Facilitated by CBA staff, the sessions are designed to be friendly and informal - bring a coffee or your lunch to the session. The topics are:
Wednesday 2nd December
Keeping members connected through online meetings: challenges and opportunities
Wednesday 9th December
Getting back to in person activity
The sessions follow on online networking meetings we held in September and will look at topics that organisers have told us are important in more depth. All three sessions are open to people involved in running groups for adults or for young people and will run from 12.15 to 1.15pm.
We are also running a series of skills development sessions, providing a quick introduction to hosting and participating in online events using common video conferencing software, plus an opportunity to improve your social media skills. Again, the sessions run from 12.15 to 1.15pm, and cover:
Monday 7th December
An advanced guide to Zoom
Monday 14th December
How to run an online AGM
Date tbc: improving your social media
